Networking in the Capital

Last Wednesday at the Canberra Business Marketing networking event hosted by Edward Zia, I found myself in a room full of energy, ideas, and genuine connection.
The Ovolo Nishi brought together a remarkable cross-section of professionals, from Helen Hoang (Children's Author) to Peter Carew (Liberty), Rasal Al (Spotless 4U), Liam Zammit (Jigsaw Australia), Jeremiah Tutor (Mytikas Industries), and Nerainer Ridgeway (Prvke Revolution). Big organisations, small startups, diverse industries, one shared purpose: to swap ideas and discover what each of us brings to the table.
What struck me most? The willingness to listen. In a room where everyone has a skill set to share, the real magic happens when we're curious about each other's worlds. That's where collaboration starts.
If you're in Canberra (Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane) and haven't caught one of Edward's events yet, I'd recommend it. You never know who you'll meet or what doors might open.
